Top Ten Tips

School librarians wear many hats: a teacher, an instructional partner, an information specialist, a leader, and a program administrator. Library advocacy touches each role within the responsibilities of a school librarian. There are many special occasions (such as National Library Week or Teen Read Week) to bring special attention to the library, but a librarian doesn't always need a notable event to positively promote the school library. The PSLA Top Ten Lists can spark ideas for new things to try and to validate the great advocacy that is already happening.
