Top Ten Tips

School librarians wear many hats: a teacher, an instructional partner, an information specialist, a leader, and a program administrator. Library advocacy touches each role within the responsibilities of a school librarian. There are many special occasions (such as National Library Week or Teen Read Week) to bring special attention to the library, but a librarian doesn't always need a notable event to positively promote the school library.
