Jack R. Luskay Memorial Scholarship

The Jack R. Luskay Memorial Scholarship will send an honoree to the PSLA Conference. Jack R. Luskay helped found the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association. He became the chief designer of its organizational structure and architect for its annual conference. No scholarship could have greater meaning as a lasting memorial to him.

In 2025, there were three scholarships awarded in the amount of $1,000 each for transportation, registration fee, membership dues, and hotel/meal expenses for the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association conference. At that time, all expenses for attending the conference were paid in full to each recipient. The number of scholarships and the amount given are determined each year based upon the earnings of the endowment fund.  The date of submission is also determined by the conference date.
