The State Board of Education completed a study on the state of school libraries in Spring of 2011 as a result of House Resolution 987 of 2010

PA House Education Committee Informational Meeting On School Library Funding

The Education Committee of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives held an informational meeting on School Library Funding on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. The purpose of the meeting was to inform the legislators about the findings and recommendations of the 2011 Pennsylvania School Library Study completed by the State Board of Education and the status of school libraries in Pennsylvania. Following the meeting Chairman Paul Clymer released this statement.
