PSLA Awards

PSLA Awards Committee accepts nominations for the following categories:

Distinguished Service

The purpose of this award is to recognize an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the field of Pennsylvania school library programs.

Presidential Award

The PSLA Presidential Award is given at the discretion of the PSLA President to an individual or group who has had a significant impact on school libraries.

Outstanding Pennsylvania Author and/or Illustrator

The purpose of this award is to recognize an author and/or illustrator who has made a notable contribution to the field of literature for youth. 

Outstanding School Administrator

The purpose of this award is to honor a school administrator outside the library profession whose leadership made a significant contribution to school library services and programs

NOTE: The Outstanding School Library Program Awards (Individual AND District) described below are on hiatus for 2018.  

Outstanding School Library Program

The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding school library programming provided by multiple librarians which is an integral part of the students' education.

Outstanding School Librarian

The purpose of this award is to recognize an outstanding individual school librarian who is an integral part of the students' education.
