AASL Standards Training

It’s time for you to implement the new AASL National School Library Standards into your school library program, and you need a game plan for the 2018-19 school year.  Learn right now about the new Standards whose integrated framework reflects professional best practices for effective school libraries so that you can set priorities for yourself, your student learners, your school library, and your school community.

Through funding from the Library Services and Technology Act, PSLA and the University of Pittsburgh are scheduling training sessions around PA so that all school librarians can participate.

Here is a list of the training sessions already scheduled.  Three hours of Act 48 is available through PSLA.  (This training is very similar to the training session that was first offered at the PSLA Conference in May 2018.) More information and materials about the sessions can be found here.

If you would like to host a training session in your geographic region, please contact Dr. Mary K. Biagini ([email protected]) for more information.
