Start off your summer reading with TWO (2) books! For our second OBOA, we will be reading John Schu's This is a School and Louder than Hunger.

Discussions will be held on the Discord app. We will also have two(2) live Zoom sessions in June (Dates TBD).

Participants will receive up to five (5) Act 48 hours for completing the weekly readings, for participating in the weekly Discord conversations and Zoom sessions, and for completing the weekly surveys.

Colby Sharp will discuss the books that our students need access to; creating a climate of book love; motivating our students to read; and other pertinent topics.

COLBY SHARP, a fifth-grade teacher at Parma Elementary School in Parma, Michigan, is cofounder of Nerd Camp and the Nerdy Book Club, and coauthor of The Commonsense Guide to Your Classroom Library and Game Changer! Book Access for All Kids with Donalyn Miller. He is also the editor of The Creativity Project: An Awesometastic Story Collection.
