Blanche Woolls who is not only a past president of the American Association of School Librarians but also a Distinguished Service member of the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association.

Beyond the Standards: Creating Partnerships Guided by the AASL National School Library Standards

This webinar is designed to support you as you put the AASL National School Library Standards into action in your local school community. Through community engagement, school librarians can gain administrator, faculty, parent, community and student support as they embed the AASL National School Library Standards into instruction and infuse the school community with opportunities to think, create, share and grow.

Featuring:

Allison Mackley (@amackley) is the National Board Certified Teacher Librarian at Hershey High School in Derry Township School District. Allison is a past president of the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association, a current board member of the American Association of School Librarians and a member of the Pennsylvania Department of Education Governor's Advisory Council on Library Development.

Dustin Brackbill (@DustinBrackbill) serves as an elementary librarian in State College Area School District conveniently located in State College, PA. He is currently involved in PSLA as a director on the board and previously was the co-chair of the Teaching & Learning Committee.

Karey Killian (@CoLIBRAtoRY) is is a co-chair for the PSLA Teaching and Learning Committee. She is a librarian serving the school community at Milton Area School District in Central Pennsylvania.

Janice Conger (@congerjan) is a co-chair for the PSLA Teaching and Learning Committee. She is a middle school librarian at Wissahickon School District in South East Pennsylvania.

Beth McGuire (@hasd_wenlib) is a member of the PSLA Teaching and Learning Committee. She is a middle school librarian from Hempfield Area School District in South Western Pennsylvania.

Kelsey DeStevens (@caffeinatedteas) is a member of the PSLA Teaching and Learning Committee. She is a K-5 elementary librarian in Christina School District in Delaware.
