librarians in Pennsylvania.
Commonwealth
Library - School Library Services Division lists school
librarian certification requirements. Unlike other areas of the Department
of Education Web Site, this site focuses on school librarian certification requirements
and lists Pennsylvania colleges that have approved school library certification
programs. This site also lists school
library publications and contact information for the staff
of the Bureau of Library Development - Division of School Library Media Services.
PA Teaching Certification Web Site -
provides a list of certification
application procedures and requirements for Level I/Provisional Certification, a
tracking system to determine whether an applicant's application has been received, testing
requirements to attain certification, and other information to assist teachers and
school librarians in attaining their certification. This site also lists PA colleges
that offer approved
certification programs in library science. Permanent or Level II
