The Outstanding School Librarian Award recognizes an outstanding individual school librarian who is an integral part of the students’ educational program. 

2017 Recipient: The Baldwin School, Bryn Mawr, PA

Lisa Lopez-Carickhoff, Lauren Friedman-Way, Sharon Nardelli, and Emily Woodward-  Librarians

 Eligibility: 

  • Members of the Awards Committee, PSLA Board of Directors, and/or elected officers of PSLA are not eligible to apply.
  • A nominee whose school and/or district has been recognized as an Outstanding School Library Program is not eligible to apply for the Outstanding School Librarian award for three (3) years.
  • The nominee is a full-time, certified school librarian with consistent PSLA membership over a minimum of three (3) years.
  • The nominee must be nominated by a PSLA member.
