Postcard2012-back

At the PSLA Conference in Hershey, April 12-14, 2012, a postcard campaign was initiated to increase the line item "Library Access" in the state budget as proposed by Gov. Tom Corbett.  The Governor's budget would reduce Library Access by 5% or possible two online databases for students. 4,000 will be distributed among PSLA members and parents attending the Pennsylvania PTA Conference in Pittsburgh, April 20-21. The message: tell PA legislators about the importance of providing equitable library services and programs for ALL students regardless of zip code and the wealth of their communities.
